OUR NAME

Heidi’s Halo is named after my beloved Chihuahua, Heidi—my heart, my shadow, my most loyal companion for nearly 17 years. She was misbehaved in the most endearing way, fiercely independent, and stubborn beyond reason, but she was also the purest soul I’ve ever known. She lived every moment with joy, curiosity, and a complete disregard for personal space. She traveled everywhere with me, embraced the world with a fearless attitude, and had a spirit that was larger than life.

One of my favorite things about Heidi was her love for the Philadelphia Eagles. She wasn’t just a passive observer—she sang along to their fight song, as if she understood the pride and passion behind it. It was one of the many ways she made every single day with her unforgettable.

When I lost her, the grief was overwhelming. My world felt emptier, quieter, missing a piece that could never be replaced. But through that loss, I knew I needed to do something to honor her—to keep her spirit alive in a way that would bring love and care to others the way she brought it to me. That’s why I created Heidi’s Halo.

This name isn’t just a tribute; it’s a promise. A promise to provide care that is full of love, patience, and deep understanding for every pet, no matter their quirks, their habits, or their personalities. Because every animal deserves to be cherished the way Heidi was.

My mission now is to bring the love she filled my home with, to yours.
